Who we are
Meridian Physician Search is a physician placement firm operating as a DBA of Melbor AI LLC, based in Texas. We facilitate the placement of physicians — primarily in outpatient psychiatry and behavioral health — with employer organizations. This policy describes how we handle personal information collected through this website and through our recruitment activities.
Questions about this policy may be directed to: [email protected]
Information we collect
We may collect the following categories of information:
- Contact information — name, email address, phone number, and professional title, submitted through our contact forms or by email.
- Professional background — specialty, training, licensure, practice history, and employment preferences shared by physicians for the purpose of placement consideration.
- Employer information — organization name, role details, hiring criteria, and contact information provided by employer representatives.
- Website usage data — standard server logs and, if analytics are enabled, aggregate traffic information. We do not use behavioral tracking tools that identify individual visitors.
How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Evaluate and pursue physician placement opportunities on behalf of employers who have engaged us.
- Communicate with physicians about potential roles that may be a fit for their background and preferences.
- Respond to inquiries submitted through this website or by email.
- Maintain records of active and past searches as required for business operations.
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. We do not use candidate information for marketing to unrelated parties.
Candidate data and consent
We treat physician candidate information with particular care. Specifically:
- A physician's profile, CV, or identifying information is never submitted to a prospective employer without the physician's explicit prior approval.
- We disclose, at minimum, the nature and setting of an opportunity before asking a physician to approve submission.
- Physicians may withdraw from consideration at any time, including after an introduction has been made.
Document handling
CVs, cover letters, and other documents submitted to us by physicians are stored securely and used only for the purpose of evaluating placement fit and presenting candidates to employers where approved. We do not distribute documents beyond what is necessary for a specific search. Documents submitted via email are retained in our systems in accordance with standard email security practices.
Retention and deletion
We retain personal information for as long as it is relevant to active or potential placement activities, or as required to comply with legal obligations. If you would like us to delete your information, send a request to [email protected] with the subject line "Data Deletion Request." We will process your request within 30 days and confirm when it is complete.
Third-party services
This website is hosted on infrastructure provided by third-party cloud and web hosting services. These providers may process limited data as part of normal hosting operations. We do not embed third-party advertising, data broker tools, or social media tracking on this website.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our practices change. Material changes will be reflected in an updated effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of this website after a policy change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
